As an Atlanta newborn photographer, I love seeing so many brand new babies in their sleepy states! But this little one in Inman Park was technically just beyond her newborn age – she was closer to two months old (she and I share the same birthday!) when I met them before a few weeks before Christmas. But oh my goodness was she adorable! It’s really amazing how quickly babies change and grow and how many more expressions they have at 2 months old than they do at 2 weeks. And she was such a good baby too- she survived multiple outfit changes, poses, and went way past her nap time with hardly a complaint. I may have to add 2 month old sessions to my newborn photography options!
Here are a few images from this sweet family’s session. And a quick note to add – this month I’m participating in a blog circle with some incredible family photographer friends. I hope you’ll click the link at the bottom of this post to follow the loop and see what they’re up to!

It was fun to add a handful of Christmas photos to the mix during this session. 🙂 One of my goals this year is to be better about blogging and sharing images from my sessions. And it’s way more fun to blog with friends than it is to go it alone! Instead of sharing what another newborn photographer in Atlanta is shooting let me introduce you to Dana – Dana is a Florida photographer with some serious skills at capturing children and families. Gorgeous set of images Ashley! That last one with the pudgy face asleep on mamas shoulder! Swoon!!
Ashley – these are just beautiful! I love the 2 month age! I think my favorite one is when it was like you were peeking in through the door of the nursery and mom was holding baby in her lap and dad standing there – so great.
You captured so many sweet moments in this session! I bet your clients are over the moon about these!
