There was so much love in the air at this engagement photo session! This was a boutique I shot during Click Away at the Omni Resort in Amelia Island, and the golden hour snob in me almost didn’t mind that this session was really late morning- almost noon- because these two were so much fun to hang out with and so into each other. I photograph children and families more than anything else and with little ones I have to work quickly, so it was nice to slow down for a change and have the time to play with some creative effects while Abby and Hunter spent some quality time with each other. Some of my favorite tricks were shooting through objects like feathers and glass, and using mirrors and prisms for fun creative and reflective effects.
This image was created by shooting through a crystal ornament.
I love how it created little rainbows when the sunlight hit it.
And these next two images were created by placing a mirror right under my lens – I love how it pulled the sky down into the bottom of the frame.
They exchanged sweet little love notes with each other. <3 It created the most genuine happy moments to photograph.
And can I point out their awesome tattoos??
So much happiness and joy. I have a feeling this great couple has a lifetime of wonderful adventures ahead. 🙂
