Lifestyle Newborn Sessions | Sandy Springs Newborn Photographer
This cute lil babe was just over 3 weeks old or so when we met for her newborn photography session. We had perfect spring weather that day and a wonderful session with a mix of lifestyle and posed shots- just about as good as a day can get in my book! And oh was she perfect and so loved – they had family over to help and this precious little miss was certainly getting her fair share of attention, just as a first-born should. Being the first grandbaby on both sides you know that attention isn’t going to stop anytime soon. 🙂 At close to a month old she wasn’t quite as sleepy as little one-weekers can be, so I had the chance to snag some fun bright-eyed shots. And oh.my.gosh. her eyes were the most beautiful shade of deep blue and green! I also managed to pull out my macro lens – one of my favorite things to do during a newborn session – to capture those sweet details that change so fast – like her little baby toes, sweet lil lips, and even an up-close yawn.
Not to say she managed to stay awake the entire session – she definitely got in a solid nap or two. We snuggled her into the sweet bow swaddle her grandmother had given her and let her rest in my little tobacco basket – does it get more southern than that? 🙂
