The perfect addition

Blog | Brookhaven Newborn Photographer

I’ve been on a blog hiatus, playing catch up with life and behind the scenes business things for the past month or two – it’s about I time I pop back in and share some images with you from a recent newborn session! This little beauty was an absolute doll as was her big brother – I had so much fun photographing them! And their house – oh my goodness – so beautifully decorated and such nice light, I kinda wanted to just move on in myself.

It took big bro a few minutes to warm up to me but eventually we got some smiles and giggles in mom and dad’s arms. It’s hard being a baby and having a new baby and a stranger with a camera in your house! And his big, beautiful eyes – ahhh a dream to photograph! I’m absolutely in love with their gorgeous gender-neutral nursery – it inspired a little bonus image from me at the end of this post. And notice how that big giraffe was giving me the eye!?! 😉 Scroll to see some highlights from our newborn photo session!

Ashley McBroom is more than just a Brookhaven newborn photographer, she shoots all over the metro Atlanta area, focusing primarily on families and children. She loves telling your family’s story and capturing your unique personalities and connections in beautiful light. Ashley specializes in maternity photography, newborn photography, family photography, children, and high school senior sessions. Her art has been described as emotive, sentimental imagery, and as a result, she loves to focus on in-between moments and connections.  Ashley lives with her husband and two little boys in the north metro suburbs. When she isn’t at one of their soccer, baseball, or tennis matches, you can find her chasing them around with a camera in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.
